HNC : Architectural Technology Incorporating LABSS

This is a varied course that provides a valuable insight into the diverse technical aspects which are fundamental to the architectural profession . This course is mainly theory-based which includes the important knowledge and skills for successful employment , studied in the context of both practical and theoretical classes .
Entry Requirements
One of the following :
One Higher at Grade C or above in a relevant subject plus three National 5s at Grade C or above which must include Maths
National Certificate : Built Environment ( with additional Maths for Construction Technicians unit )
Foundation Apprenticeship : Civil Engineering SCQF Level 6
Another relevant course at SCQF Level 6
Relevant industry experience and / or other qualifications will be considered on an individual basis

HNC : Building Surveying
SCQF Level 7
Part-time

This course is based on building surveying and will incorporate attributes of how to inspect buildings and to decide what would be required to repair or maintain them .

HNC : Interior Design

This is the first year entry level 3D design course specialising in Interior Design , introducing the skills needed to design spaces and places for people , creating interior schemes and solving problems to improve the world around us . It enables you to develop the creative process , hand and CAD drawing skills , while gaining the technical skills needed for jobs in the interior design profession , or to build a portfolio to gain access into the HND level course , or a place at university .
Entry Requirements
One of the following :
National Certificate : Architecture and Interior Design SCQF Level 6
Another related course at SCQF Level 6
One Higher at Grade C or above in Art and Design or Graphic Communication , plus National 5 English at Grade C or above
An appropriate portfolio of artwork
