You will also learn about business , finance , and promotional activities making this course ideal for those who wish to pursue self-employment or a management role .
You will be required to work in paired activity and to provide models for assessment purposes .
Entry Requirements
You must be a minimum of 16 years of age at the start of your course
You must have manual dexterity , a pleasant manner , and a keen interest in the nail services industry
You may be required to take part in an informal conversation as part of the application process . This group / individual conversation may be an information session , a portfolio discussion , or a skills-based exercise

VTCT Level 4 Advanced Beauty Techniques

This course provides you with the understanding and skills to provide permanent hair reduction , treat skin imperfections and rejuvenate the skin ; including skin rolling and peeling .
You will gain a deeper understanding of the physiology of ageing and the management of client care and health and safety in the salon .

VTCT Level 3 in Beauty or equivalent
Completed Facial Electrical module / unit certification is compulsory

Brand new course ! If you want to be a hairdresser when you leave school , or if you ’ ve always had an interest in hairdressing , then this is the starting place for you . This fun and exciting course lets you develop basic hairdressing skills while working on classmates , training heads and real clients . We are looking for enthusiastic and creative individuals who love speaking to and working with other people .
Most of this course focusses on the practical aspects of hairdressing , and you will also develop the interpersonal skills required for working in the hairdressing industry . There are practical assessments as well as online theoretical assessments . You will be required to work in paired activity with your classmates ... be prepared to have your hair done a lot ! If you are creative , artistic , outgoing and enjoy meeting people , then this course is for you .
