This course has been specifically designed for anyone who wishes to begin a career in the automotive , mechanical , electrical , fabrication and welding , or manufacturing engineering industries .
You will undertake a variety of mechanical and electrical engineering skills , to assist you to find the area that is right for you . You will develop your practical skills and knowledge with a hands-on approach throughout . You will also gather a wide range of practical experience including real-life situations you could encounter in an industry role .
The course is open to both school leavers and those looking to change or further their careers .

Entry Requirements
Three National 3s in Maths , English , and a Technology subject ( preferably with at least one of these areas at National 4 , or at least an indication of ability to work at National 4 level )
If you can demonstrate a keen interest in engineering , have good discipline and the ability to develop your practical engineering skills , you may also be considered

On this course you ’ ll gain a large amount of practical experience in electrical engineering in our wellequipped and modern facilities . You will be introduced to the fundamental areas of electrical principles , wiring , testing , and measurement while also covering hand skills required in electrical engineering .
