This course is designed to provide you with the solid foundation of knowledge , skills and experience required to work within the vocational areas of exercise and fitness , sports coaching and health and wellbeing . Successful students can progress onto the Advanced Certificate : Sport and Fitness .

This course will introduce and develop the knowledge and skills required for progression to HNC : Fitness , Health and Exercise . This will include a range of practical and theoretical units encompassing fitness industry practice , knowledge of nutrition and exercise psychology , and conditioning for sport . The course also includes a certified National Progression Award in Exercise and Fitness Leadership .
