rgentina llega a Chile 2015 para intentar saldar una vieja deuda. Y es
que el elenco albiceleste jamás ha logrado quedarse con la Copa Mundial Sub-17
de la FIFA, pese a que es una de las selecciones que más veces ha participado en
el torneo, pues suma 12 presencias y solo
es superada por Brasil y Estados Unidos.
El elenco albiceleste tiene como sus mejores actuaciones los terceros lugares obtenidos en 1991, 1995 y 2003. En la última aparición, el 2013, logró alcanzar el
cuarto puesto, quedando, otra vez, fuera
de la final.
En el Torneo Sudamericano clasificatorio
para el Mundial, si bien venció al campeón Brasil, se quedó con el subcampeonato. Sin embargo, Argentina llega con
una buena base que le permite ilusionarse con, por fin, alcanzar el esquivo título
Sub-17.

only beaten by Brazil and the United States.
The Argentinean team only has as their
best performances the third places obtained in 1991, 1995 and 2003. In the last
appearance, in 2013, they succeeded in
getting the fourth place, remaining, again,
out of the final.
In the South American Tournament qualifier for the World Cup, although they beat
the champion Brazil, they only reached
the runner-up. However, Argentina arrives
with a good base that allows them to inspire hope with, finally, reaching the elusive
U-17 title.
