1.3 Use the door hardware drill jig to mark the door with the exact
location for the door pulls. Score the door with the drill bit while the jig is
in place. Complete drilling the hole with the jig removed.
This will help increase the life of the jig.

1.4 For drawers, locate the center of the drawer
face and index the center of the jig on that point.
Choose the correct row of holes on the jig to center
the hole in the height of the drawer face.

If you do not have a jig to mark the doors and draw-
ers, a typical drill pattern for a door is centered on the rail of
the door and down starting 2-1/2” from the top edge for base
doors and 2-1/2” up from the bottom for wall cabinet doors.
