Make sure that the part of the countertop to be
cut away is fully supported. Proceed with cutting the
top to length.
Set the saw depth to extend no further than 1/4” past
the thickest part of the top and jig combined.
Step 6 Applying an Endcap
6.1
Starting with a clean, straight and flat cut
end on the laminate top, measure and cut the
endcap backer material to fit the underside of the
end and backsplash.
Use glue and 5/8” finish nails to apply.
Make sure that the backer material is installed
flush to the end of the countertop.
