hold the posi-
tion of a Post
at the fl oor in a
perfectly plumb
position.
2.3 Make
sure that the
fl oor below
where the Post
is to attach is
clean.
Apply construc-
tion adhesive to
the fl oor at the
post location
and slide the
post into place.

Screw the
post in
through the
rough top.
Use #7 x
1-1/8” fl at-
head screws.
