Step 5 5.1 Make Contact Carefully fold the hinged piece into place. Be careful not to allow the glued skin to come into contact with any other glued surface until it is exactly in place. It will adhere to the fi rst glued surface it touches, and can be easily damaged if that bond has to be adjusted. 5.2 This glue will tack immediately, but full bond is only achieved by apply- ing pressure to the two surfaces. Place pressure on the piece with a roller or a wood block and a soft rag to set the bond. Begin in the center and work out to the sides and corners, until every inch of the surface has been bonded. The bond is most critical at the perim- eter of the panel being skinned. Pay extra attention to make sure that the perimeter has a complete bond. ©2017 PCS Professional Cabinet Solutions.
