3.1
Measure, cut and install the Sub Crown as specifi ed for the installation.
Be sure that the material is secure with screws within 3” of any cabinet end or end pair and no further apart than 16” to
18”.
The Crown Molding will mount to this material. Inaccurate, out of square or loose placement of the Sub Crown will
result in unnecessary diffi culty in making the crown look right or prevent its install.
3.2
Once the Sub Crown is cut and installed, begin with the crown. As always, determine the needs for the job and
begin cutting the longest pieces fi rst. Once you have a piece cut, dry fi t the length to confi rm fi t.
Place the molding in its place so that the Lower Back portion of the detail is fl at against the Sub Crown.
