If the Crown Molding is to mount against ATSM Sub Crown and span the gap between the Wall Cabi-
net run and the ceiling or soffi t, locate the lowest area of the lid (ceiling or soffi t) that is over the Wall Cabinet
run.
The lowest point on the lid will be represented by the smallest dimension from the lid to the top of the cabinet
run.
This location will determine the size of the Sub Crown Reveal (the space between the top of the cabinet and
the Bottom Face of the Crown Molding at the low point of the ceiling or soffi t).
It is essential that the Sub Crown Reveal remains consistent and level. Do not adjust the molding to undula-
tions in the ceiling or soffi t lid.

If the crown does not span to a lid, cut a spacer
block to 5/8” for use as a jig.
Use this jig to help maintain a consistent dimension for
the Sub Crown Reveal when applying the Crown
Molding.

Apply color with a matching touch up
marker to the outside 1/8” edges of any pieces
that comprise a joint.
