Field Installation and Service Manual SECTION 1 - INSTALLATION Installing Wall Cabinets Illustrated Method Sheet 104 Step 1 Prep and Place the First Wall Cabinet 1.1 Confi rm that Wall Cabinet doors and shelves are removed from the cabinet box and neatly stored out of the way. Stage the stripped Wall Cabinet boxes to the areas they will be installed. 1.2 Identify the location on the wall where the edge of the fi rst Wall Cabinet will lie. The process in this Illustrated Method Sheet assumes that the steps described in the previous documents have been completed. If there are no tall cabinets in the installation, start with the center most full height wall cabinet on the most complex wall. See IMS #102 for help in de- termining the best starting point and proper layout. The proper conditions for this to take place are: Tools are laid out, the cabinets have been unwrapped and inventoried, studs have been located and the Base and Wall Cabinet Index Lines have been determined and marked on the walls. In addition, any tall cabi- nets are properly secured in their positions. ©2017 PCS Professional Cabinet Solutions. All Rights Reserved. 1.3 Measure back from that point to the nearest stud location.
