FHS Says “Adios” to the Class of 2007 By Veronica Kieffer Flash Staff Reporter The heat sweltered as our beloved seniors made their final pass through the hallways of FHS, as friends hugged and laughed together while remembering their high school experiences. Teachers gave speeches in the gym before the walk, conveying their feelings about the seniors. While sweat covered the majority of the seniors walking, tears joined some faces. Hung from the ceiling were pictures of past class events. The senior walk has only been active for two years, and has now become a tradition. Seniors dressed in their commencement gowns and took the halls during seminar as underclassman stood along side, showing respect for their years at Fraser. The Fraser band led the march giving excited seniors something to dance to. Underclassmen eagerly took pictures, clapped, and waited for their chances to take the last walk through the halls. Teacher’s stood by and watched the students they have known for the last four years move on to a new stage in their lives. The walk was followed by the senior picnic. Here ,teachers took charge of grills as students reminisced on their high school experience, and celebrated their last day of high school. Also at the picnic students took part in car decorating contest with a final prize a forty-dollar gas card. These seniors will miss their times here at FHS, and we will miss them …kinda. Kissing Fraser HIgh goodbye Alex Wernette couldn’t be happier Some seniors we’re sadder than others to be leaving FHS - Senior Picnic Water balloon “toss” Continued from page 6..... Even more of a shock is that this was Coca Cola’s reaction to this product, although it didn’t negatively affect sales Coke’s sales. Vitamin Water brought in new customers and more profits without knocking out the loyal coke fans. Until this year’s end, however, Vitamin Water will be on the shelves whether the sponsors like it or not. “Coca Cola, in my opinion, doesn’t offer enough,” said Moutrie on replacing Vitamin Water. “Ultimately, I would like to see no sugar drinks at all.” With the legal problems our school could potentially face, these hearty beverages will soon face an end. Coca Cola has now officially purchased Glacieu, the company that owns Vitamin Water, for over four billion dollars. Whether or notFraser will be selling it next year is still unknown. For all we know, this year’s end could mean the end of our free choice in beverages. The school has seen at least a temporary end of its health drink experience. “Very Nice!” Valedictorian Alex Politis proudly struts in his cap and gown Whats up Doc...Continued from page 6 to me.” I hope all of us will make the personal commitment to making next year the best yet! If I don’t get a chance to tell of you personally, have a GREAT summer. Be safe, make great choices, and always remember that you are a RAMBLER! Sincerely, THE EDUCATED CHOICE John T.
