Where did your love for fashion begin and how did your journey as a designer start in Peru?
My love for fashion began when I was very young. When I was around six or seven years old, my mother gave me my first toy sewing machine, and I would use it to make clothes for my dolls. I still remember the excitement of creating something different and beautiful with my own hands. That feeling stayed with me.
Years later, when I began thinking about the career I wanted to pursue, I realized that I often couldn’t find clothes that I truly loved or that fit me the way I wanted them to. So I thought, why not create them myself? I wanted to design pieces that reflected my taste and eventually learn how to produce them. What began as a childhood fascination slowly became my passion, and ultimately, my career.
