How did you first become involved with Care Tucker, and what initially drew you to the brand?
Care had just opened her shop on Main Street when I first walked in. I was looking for an outfit for a Good Day LA segment for my previous business, Plate Therapy, when I spotted this bright yellow suit that was completely my style. I put it on, it fit like a glove, and I immediately fell in love with the way her clothes made me feel: confident, happy, and powerful.
A few months later, I was heading back to Good Day LA for a holiday segment, and I knew exactly what I wanted to wear: Care Tucker’s red suit. By then, I was hooked.
Fast-forward a few years, I had closed my company, and Care and I found ourselves catching up and chatting business. She mentioned that she and Jonny were looking for someone to create content and help grow the brand. I already believed in what they were building and adored them both, so it felt like such a natural fit.
There’s something really special about getting to help build a brand that I first fell in love with as a customer. I know firsthand how Care Tucker clothes can change the way a woman feels when she puts them on. Now I get to help tell that story and introduce that feeling to more women.
What is something about Care Tucker that people might not immediately know just from seeing the clothing?
One thing most people don’t know is that Care’s fabric prints are all custom, designed in-house, and incredibly personal to her. They’re inspired by things she genuinely loves, from leopard to vintage jewelry, and she even finds ways to sneak her name into the prints. It’s like her own little hidden signature.
What I also love about Care
Tucker is how intentional and
versatile every piece is. The clothes are beautiful, comfortable, sexy and fun. Everything is designed to work together. You can take one blazer and wear it with jeans and sneakers, pair it with a Zip Slip and heels for dinner, or mix it with other pieces from the collection.
I like to call it “comfort couture.” Care makes getting dressed easy while still making you feel polished, confident and put together. You look elevated, but you never have to sacrifice comfort to get there.
