4.There is no such thing as failure. The human journey is a trial-and-error experience. Expect to make mistakes, they are essential for your growth and accept yourself for being a “work in progress.” Reward your effort instead of a “perfect” outcome.
5.Stop comparing yourself to others. There is no one that exists in the past, present or future, that is you! No one else thinks like you, has your unique perspective or has your special gifts or talents. Build confidence using the Wonder Woman or Superman pose - for 3 minutes stand in an open and expansive posture, feet shoulder width apart, shoulders back and broad, chin up, smile, and tap into the feeling of power and strength.
6. Share your feelings. Be honest with yourself. Accept responsibility for changing
yourself. Talk to yourself in the mirror. Practice being your own best friend or cheerleader/hype man. Talk with a trusted friend, mentor or therapist. You will learn that you are not alone. Everyone has had the feeling of not being good enough.
The Impostor Phenomena is a limiting belief because once you remember how powerful you truly are, you will know that nothing is impossible.
“It always seems impossible until it’s done.” Nelson Mandela
