KELZ MEDIA has such a dynamic focus on beauty, health, fitness, and lifestyle. What was the inspiration behind a communications agency that weaves all those worlds together?

At KELZ MEDIA, we believe confidence and happiness are built through the everyday choices people make — from wellness routines and fitness to fashion, grooming, and beauty. Our role is to help clients tap into those intersections and translate them into stories that feel authentic, dynamic, and inspiring. By weaving these worlds together, we empower brands to connect with audiences on multiple levels — not just as companies, but as part of people’s lives.

KELZ MEDIA was also born out of the idea that work should feel like joy. By incorporating the passions that drive us, we create campaigns and strategies that not only deliver results but also spark excitement and confidence for our clients as they step into the spotlight.

As principal of KELZ MEDIA, what does a “day in the life” look like for you right now?

No two days are alike — and that’s the beauty of it. By 6:30 a.m., after I’ve made sure my family is up and moving, I’m sipping coffee with my husband, scrolling through the news while NewsNation or Good Morning America plays softly in the background. By 7:15 am, I’m either at the gym or walking towards the lakefront — it’s my time to clear my head and get energized for the day.

From there, my mornings often flow into strategy calls or client check-ins, followed by content development, media outreach, and team collaborations. By the afternoon, I’m usually reviewing creative campaigns, pitching story ideas, or planning events. Each day is a blend of creative thinking, relationship-building, and plenty of multitasking — and I wouldn’t have it any other way

Fall is a season of lifestyle shifts, and communications is an industry that’s always evolving too. How do you personally adapt to change? How do you help your clients do the same?

I see change as an opportunity rather than a disruption. Personally, I adapt by staying curious and flexible, always open to new ideas and technologies. I also make it a point to stay connected — talking to people, reading Substacks, and traveling — because those conversations and experiences keep me inspired and in tune with what’s happening in the world.

For our clients, we focus on agility. That might mean pivoting campaigns to match cultural shifts, embracing new platforms, or finding innovative ways to connect with their consumer targets. At the heart of it, it’s about giving them the confidence to evolve while staying true to their brand voice.
