At The Mega Procession of the Catrinas, thousands of people dress up as “La Catrina” (elegant skull) and parade through the streets. The parade aims to uphold the tradition of Dia de los Muertos, featuring elaborate costumes and spectacular skull makeup to honor friends and family who have passed away. This year, the parade will be held on October 27th, which will be the parade’s 11th year.

You can’t miss the Spooktacular Hot Air Balloon Festival. Over 20 hot air balloons from around the country join the event to hand out over 4,000 pounds of candy to kids at the festival. There are also spooky costume contests with prizes, and you can buy hot air balloon rides to see the event from the sky. Open October 25-27, 5-9 pm.
