Jlo was my interlude into this whimsical, romantic art inspired fashion line. I spotted the colors and patterns in her latest film Second Act, as she ran along the Riverwalk all I could think was I must find this curve friendly line! Sure enough I found that the curator and creative director, Allison Hart of the Niyamasol was very much a yogi, spiritual and adventure enthusiast.

All the more intrigued, I asked her what her inspiration was drawn from when she began her line and how it tied into her other passion of being a fitness guru. She explained, “We loved the idea of creating leggings from recycled plastic bottles and I wanted to wear different, more artistic, leggings to both my workouts and my job. Something that could easily be dressed up or down and

something unique that no one else had. A lot of the patterns are very personal to us and most have some backstory that I try to write into each description of the print.”

These descriptions are completely personal and emotional, much like fitness. The spirit of the patterns are largely why the items connect with each person that purchase the garments.

Allison’s influence took to broader lengths with her affiliation with TruFusion, a fitness studio experience owned by Martin Hinton that offers almost every workout imaginable. With Kettle bell conditioning to yoga and TRX training… I could see quickly why fitness gear that reflected the multifunction and dimension of her Life was vital.

In addition, there’s a powerful collaboration of Jlo’s urban flare branding adding to Niyamasol as well as hubby, Arod’s partnership with TruFusion.

Niyamasol means positive habits for a healthy and spiritual way of life. The life that we lead radiates exactly what we want into actual fruition. Niyamasol is a line that is more than just a lifestyle it’s a journey of soul.
