ellness can mean so many
different things throughout
our lives. Sometimes it
means listening to our bodies. Sometimes it means finding the courage to speak up when something does not feel right. It can mean strengthening our minds, leaning into our faith, or simply giving ourselves permission to slow down and do something that makes us feel good.
Last month, I had the opportunity to see all those different sides of wellness come together at our Wellness in Action crossover event. Presented by Together at Peace, the morning brought together an all-women panel with perspectives spanning women’s health, mental wellness, physical strength, faith, self-care, and advocacy.
I was joined by Danielle McPartlin and Kristin Richardson of Let’s Whip It Up!, Val Oliveira of Brazilian Lymph Spa, Christine Marzullo of Together at Peace Foundation, Wendy Mitchell Gill of A Silver Lining Foundation, and Ellen Wilcox of Listen®. Together, we explored what wellness can look like during different seasons of a woman’s life.
