5.Using Your Voice - prayer (internal or speaking aloud), singing, talking it out, or chanting using the OM or AA sound.

6.Being in nature- near water, watching a campfire, walking barefoot, or hugging a tree.

7.Essential Oils - diffusing, heating, or smelling essential oils including lavender, vanilla, peppermint and eucalyptus.

8.Laughter - comedy, entertainment, being silly, smiling, or just laughing for no reason.

9.Gratitude - focusing on something or someone to feel thankful for.

There are many other healthy outlets to reduce stress. Making time to tap into your inner world, reconnecting with nature and activating your senses to feel peace and joy, brings your body back into balance. If stress is the psychological perception of pressure from external events that you may or may not be able to change, focusing on what you can control and choosing healthy habits will bring your mind and body back into balance and can feel empowering. You can choose to create an internal reservoir of calmness, security, and joy by practicing stress reducing techniques. So my advice to you is Don’t Stress, You Got This!!
