There are many other healthy outlets to reduce stress. Making time to tap into your inner world, reconnecting with nature and activating your senses to feel peace and joy, brings your body back into balance. If stress is the psychological perception of pressure from external events that you may or may not be able to change, focusing on what you can control and choosing healthy habits will bring your mind and body back into balance and can feel empowering.
