magine one day being an inspiring chef and before you know it, you’ve become the private chef for one of the best and most famous players in the NBA. Now imagine being tasked with the critical responsibility of preparing meals that not only taste good but keeps a professional superstar’s body strong and healthy. That’s exactly what Chef Richard Ingraham did for his client former NBA superstar Dwyane Wade and continues to do for D Wade’s family. However, after seventeen years, D Wade is the not the only superstar living under one roof that Chef Ingraham cooks for. Now he has the added responsibility of making sure that D Wade’s superstar wife, actress and co-host of America’s Got Talent, Gabrielle Union is well fed too. The two celebrities currently live in Los Angeles with their family and Chef Ingraham has now taken his talents to LA as well.

Chef Ingraham’s first cookbook is titled Eating Well to Win, Inspired Living Through Inspired Cooking. The cookbook

showcases delicious, flavorful recipes that help Chef Richard's celebrity clientele of entertainers and top athletes in the NBA, MLB and NFL reach their peak performance. The recipes are inspired by favorites of Gabrielle and Dwyane's and inspiration from Chef Richard's soul cooking.

Chef Ingraham has also launched his FLASH SAUCE. A crowd favorite at the 2018 South Beach Food and Wine Festival. The history behind the sauce is a great lesson of merging flavor with opportunity and then letting the rest take care of itself. From soups, sauces, stews, dips and eggs, it sounds like there’s little that this sauce can’t enhance.

I had an opportunity to chat with Chef Ingraham about his journey, relationship with Dwyane and Gabriel, and his vision for his cooking and products. After learning more about his recipes I can’t wait to read his cookbook and try the sauce that just might make him famous one day too.
