I started my relaxation in the Halotherapy room, this involves the breathing of salted air. It was first developed by the ancient Greeks. The process improves respiratory function and acts as a natural antimicrobial improving your immune system. Inhaling salt particles has shown to reduce inflammation, asthma, allergies, bronchitis, and sinus congestion. This helps to reduce stress and headaches, increases energy and helps with better sleeping patterns. After some time in the salt room, where I took a nap, I took advantage of the sauna and steam room, and then was escorted downstairs to the beer soaks. It was lit perfectly; I could see the steam from the warm bath that awaited me along with the sweet smell of hops. To enjoy my soak further they provided a charcuterie platter along with a pint of beer!

While it is impossible to trace the exact origin of beer, we know that it has been around since at least 3400 B.C. and in all likelihood, centuries before that. Residue of the first known barley beer was found in a jar at the Godin Tepe excavation site in modern-day Iran, thousands of years ago. Egyptian Pharaohs were known to be buried with beer to take a pint or two with them to the after-life. A 6000-year-old Sumerian tablet depicts people consuming beer through straws and even contains the first recorded recipes for brews.
