Raw foods are generally out of the question in third world countries. I love raw foods and it kills me not to be able to eat them, but it’s too risky. Fruits that have been peeled are usually safe unless they seem rotten or slimy. I tend not to eat raw foods in countries that have air or water pollution because the food is negatively affected by the climate and water sources where it is grown.

Don’t be peer pressured

into eating or drinking

something that you

think will negatively

affect your health. Don’t

worry about being

impolite, just go with

your gut if it is telling

you not to eat something

It’s better to be safe than

sorry.

Eating meat can be

dangerous depending on

where you are. If there is

a shiny rainbow color on

meat or if it’s slimy DO

NOT eat it. I never order

sushi when I am not near a body of water because there is no way that it can be fresh. Another thing to beware of is when the menu does not specify which meat they are serving. Make sure you ask the waiter to specify what kind of meat they are serving, where it is from, and how fresh it is before ordering. When in doubt, don’t eat it.
