Explain what initially drew you to real estate, and how you found your niche in the luxury market.

I don’t know what it was, but I loved looking at homes. I used to walk into open houses just to look at them. I think I disappointed so many realtors because I was never going to buy anything. LOL! Even though I was working in banking, I decided to get my real estate license and worked part time as an agent. Eventually, I knew that this was my love and left my full-time banking job.

I didn’t start out in the luxury market. I worked for many years selling homes at all price points. My clients who started with me bought small condos. After a few years, they ended up making more money and bought/sold bigger and more expensive homes. I am just so grateful that they trusted me enough to keep coming back.

I still work in all price points but more and more of my clients are buying and selling luxury homes so that is how I found my niche. I always love when agents tell me that they want to break into the luxury market. It doesn’t happen overnight. You must work hard and earn the trust of your clients at this price point. It's one of their biggest assets and they want to work with someone they trust.
