Just as the flutter of a butterfly’s wings has potential to cause a hurricane, one healthy change in your lifestyle may create a ripple effect that will result in the creation of a better you. Jump start your journey to a happier you by incorporating these healthy tips into your lifestyle today:

1. Cut the unnecessary "fluff" out of your diet. Drop the sodas and processed foods and decrease your intake of bread and other gluten. The more fruits, veggies and water you incorporate in your diet and the less of all the other ‘crap’ the better!

2. Kill your habit of overeating. Instead of eating three large meals a day, try eating smaller meals more frequently.

3. Be active. You don’t have to become a gym rat to incorporate a healthy amount of movement in your life but you do need to get out there and move! Go for a walk, jog around the park or pick up a sport. When you are living life to it’s fullest you are naturally going to be getting the exercise you need to stay healthy.

4. Keep a positive attitude. A healthy mind is the key to a healthy body. This wonderful quote by Louise Hay says it perfectly, “I change my life when I change my thinking. I am a wonderful, capable being and it’s time for me to acknowledge that I create my own reality with my thoughts. If I want to change my reality, then it’s time for me to change my mind.”
