5. Respect yourself. Respecting yourself means setting boundaries so others know how you expect to be treated, what behaviors are acceptable and unacceptable to you. Respect for self means honoring your body as your temple. Respect means being free to express your thoughts and feelings, taking responsibility for your actions and the consequences, good or bad, write or wrong, of your actions. Mutual respect means treating others the way you want to be treated. Mutual respect means allowing others to express themselves without judgment and without the need for agreement. Accept that understanding one another is more important than persuading someone to adopt your beliefs. Everyone has a unique perspective and the lens from which you view the world is unique to you, similar to your unique fingerprint and voice.
4. Take care of yourself. Taking care of yourself means taking care of your mind and body. Knowing what is best for your body is movement, nutritious foods, sufficient water intake, restorative sleep, sexual pleasure, hugs, essential oils, bathing, grooming hair and nails, massaging your body, clothing that is appropriate for the weather and feels good on your body, creating an environment that supports your wellness, and so on. Listening to your body and how it feels. Taking care of your mind includes quiet time, meditation, prayer, music that is calming and uplifting, singing, affirmations, nurturing positive thoughts, high vibrational emotions like joy and gratitude, solfeggio frequencies, anticipating the best-case scenario, journaling, daydreaming, playtime, artistic expression, intimacy, loving relationships, laughter, and so forth. Expect good things to come into your life. Believe the best in yourself and in others.
