Find Your Magic Number. Getting enough sleep is essential, but oversleeping can cause exhaustion. That’s right, if you get too much sleep it can actually make you feel tired! Find out where your sweet spot is and try to schedule enough time to sleep – but not too much. My magic number is eight hours. If I wake up after sleeping for eight hours I feel rested and rejuvenated. If I don’t get at least 8 hours of sleep per night I wake up wanting more sleep, if I sleep over 8 hours I start feeling lethargic and stay sleepy all day. Try to figure out the right amount of sleep for you.
