Where We Stayed
Our base was the historic Fairmont Royal York, a luxury landmark dating back to 1929. Centrally located and impeccably restored, this hotel immediately set the tone—elegance, sophistication, and comfort.
Day One:
First Impressions & Flavorful Firsts
Lunch at Chef’s Hall
We kicked off our culinary tour at Chef’s Hall, a bustling upscale food hall at 111 Richmond Street West. With a lineup that includes Tempura Keisuke and Grandma Loves You (a cult-favorite from Yelp’s Top 100 Places to Eat), we opted for fresh poke bowls and a glass of rosé to toast the start of our journey.
Dinner at NBA Courtside Restaurant
That evening, we dined courtside—literally—at NBA Courtside Restaurant, welcomed by a Toronto hospitality visionary Trevor Lui. A sleek, 10,000-square-foot waterfront spot fusing sports culture with elevated dining, it featured artwork, exclusive retail, and a menu that wowed us. Trevor’s work with Quell, a collective of diverse culinary creatives, along with his culinary roots sets a new bar for dining.
