Not everyone is into the gym scene, but I do believe it is important to keep active. One of my favorite things to do while away is go for walks and explore and have good talks with my friends, or even enjoy quality time alone. Some vacation spots even offer activities to partake in such as biking, kayaking, rafting, or even walking tours. In fact, city tours are also an excellent way to acquaint yourself of the area you're in and learn about the local culture and natural environment.
Let us not forget one of our most favorite exercises as well, you know what I am talking about...DANCING! (what were you thinking?!) Whether it’s finding concerts in the area, a good night club, or local music played in the streets; it’s always good to keep your ears open. I reflect on the memories of the mariachis playing in the streets as we danced around the music; calories burned while having fun. Isn’t that glorious?
The best health we can have for ourselves is happiness! Wherever your journey may lead you, embrace it and take the time do make it the best! Preparation of energizing snacks, with moderation in mind, can help set you up for a healthy balanced vacation. And remember, leave some room for your trainers and dancing shoes! ~cha cha cha!
