Second Step: The Overhaul
The second step is the fun part, the shopping! Once you’ve purged the items, it’s time to move on to shopping your own closet and breathing new life into the pieces you have left. Get inspired to mix and match your items in new and fresh ways. As you do so, you’ll most likely come up with a list of fill-in items or replacement items from the pieces you purged. Before you shop at the same old big box store, PLEASE consider where your clothing is made and what your new purchases are made from. Eco-friendly fabrics will compost and not end up in landfills. Below are a few of my favorite ethically made sustainable brands to shop.
