CAPTAIN FANTASTIC
(Opens July 15) Ben (Viggo Mortensen) is raising his 6 children in the backcountry of Oregon, solely relying upon the environment for their survival. Armed with intelligence and books, Ben has fostered these brilliant children’s education and life skills, but when their mother passes away, they must re-enter society, testing their life skills in ways previously unimaginable. “Captain Fantastic” is a beautiful portrayal of relationships as well as a statement about life and society in general.
