my ability to step into my power, but whatever the reason, I’d like to use this mantra to get over that. It’s the dawn of a new day and anything is possible! I know in my heart I’d be a better leader having the confidence to own my power, unapologetically, while allowing others to do the same.
I work with a woman named Heidi Sawyer. She is amazing at using mediation and mantras to manifest your best life. She also talks about archetypes. The one I am most drawn to this year is the Queen. Heidi’s description of the Queen energy is so stable, unshaken and confident in her power. When I envision power in my mantra I picture the Queen- loving, connected, purposeful and standing in her power.
I felt so grounded and clear in my Sunday sanctuary, thinking and dreaming by my cozy fire and putting pen and colored pencils to paper. It was like a great big deep breathe. I felt in good flow energy and ready for action in 2024. Bring it on!
And as life would have it, fresh in the new year, a huge surprise was delivered to me. One of my key leaders, my right arm, my confidant, my stability… had decided it was time for her to move on and take a position with another company. I felt devasted. I believe I went through all the stages of grief in the next few days. I felt my abandonment issues triggered. I felt sad. I genuinely respect and admire this person. I thought we’d be together until we both retired. Yet I understood her decision and her reasoning. I had to let her go and be free to pursue her dreams. She left my company way better than she found it and for that I will be forever grateful. We are vowing to each other this is not goodbye---just a different connected vibration. We will continue to be each other’s greatest cheerleaders!
