Six of 2023's top TechRise Startups pitched onstage for the chance to win $100,000 in capital. Attendees celebrated over 300 Founders who've taken the TechRise stage since 2021, along with their community of investors and ecosystem leaders. TechRise hosts weekly pitch competitions for startups anywhere from the idea to pre-seed stage, regardless of industry.
TechRise by P33 is working to establish Chicago as the best city for Black and Latinx founders in the U.S. TechRise is a multi-stakeholder initiative to help close the chasm in funding and support for Black and Latinx Chicago tech founders and support them from idea stage to exit. They are focused on overcoming the barriers to getting to an MVP and initiating growth, including the lack of personal or network wealth, lack of knowledge about fundraising, and the lack of network of experienced founders.
