Week 3: Bookstore and Coffee Shop Date

For my third outing, I’m treating myself to a cozy afternoon at a second-hand bookstore and a nearby coffee shop. My neighborhood is full of charming mom-and-pop cafés, so I’m excited to pick one and pair it with a visit to the bookstore. I’ll set a budget for my book purchases—because let’s be real, I could easily buy out the entire store—and I can keep my fingers crossed that the weather will behave so I can walk there. Love an incidental workout.

This solo outing is also about building my confidence in doing things alone. I’m not quite ready for a solo dinner at a restaurant, but this is a step in the right direction. To me, success isn’t just about the end goal; it’s about taking strides toward it.***

Week 4: Yoga

For the fourth week, I’m leaning into the theme of flexibility—both in plans and in practice. What better way to embody that than with yoga? My neighborhood has plenty of independent yoga studios, and a Sunday afternoon or evening session sounds like the perfect way to reset and recharge for the week ahead. Yoga not only supports my well-being but also aligns with my goal of supporting small businesses, making it a win-win.****

Success is in the Steps

This February, I’m redefining what success looks like. It’s not just about checking items off a list or achieving The Big Goals. It’s about the journey—the small steps, the new experiences, and the joy of investing in myself.

By focusing on these weekly adventures, I’m not only strengthening my relationship with myself but also supporting my local community and cultivating meaningful connections. February might be cold and dark, but I’m determined to make it vibrant and fulfilling.
