Don’t assume anyone can read your mind. If you need or want something from someone, tell them exactly what you need. Don’t make them read between the lines. Don’t be afraid to get what you want. You and your needs are just as important as theirs.

No one is perfect and we cannot expect to be perfect nor our loved ones around us. Accept your imperfections as well as everyone else’s.

Donate your time to a charity that is near and dear to you. Realizing that it feels good to help others may help you feel grateful for who you are and who you have in your life.
