Focus on the positive attributes of the people in your life. Thinking positive and having a good attitude about life and the people in it will make your life better. It takes effort to not dwell on the negative, let’s remember that old saying if you don’t have something nice to say don’t say anything at all. Make sure people in your life know that you respect them, and you appreciate what they do for you. Giving compliments to people around you and providing positive words of affirmation will go a long way.

If you keep bringing up past fights and wrong doings and just can’t move on; that will be constant trauma in your life. If you have forgiven and decide to move on, then do just that. Leave the past behind you and don’t continue making them pay for past mistakes.

Do things for people that they care about. If they need help truly give them your time to listen, help and be there for them. Go out of your way to be helpful. Sometimes that’s just picking up the phone and saying hi for no reason at all.
