My next message was from a guy named Trevor. I was immediately interested in him because he got straight to the point and asked me to get coffee. He seemed likeable and I was intrigued so I said yes, but after I agreed I decided to look him up online and found his social media accounts. His instagram was strange to say the least. After seeing multiple extreme close ups of his face and bizarre captions about “the rapture”, I made the executive decision to cancel the date.

After these two experiences, I decided to delete Tinder. I know that that was only two guys and there are many more out there, but I don’t have the patience or the personality for an app like Tinder. So my three days on the app were interesting to say the least and it taught me a lot about dating as a young woman in her early 20s- it’s weird. So instead of stressing about having someone for “cuffing season”, I will buy my friends chocolate and go to the movies, and enjoy the fact that I have plenty more Valentine’s Days to cuff someone.
