6.Volunteer to serve at a local shelter or food pantry.

7.Give yourself a makeover by trying something new; a new haircut, new outfit, new makeup, new style, etc. Take a photo with the mantra “A new me in 2023” and post it on your wall as a daily reminder.

8.Make a list of the things you are grateful for starting with your life. Remind yourself daily of one thing to be grateful for and smile until you feel happy.

9.Create a new tradition; tell one person “sorry,” another person, “I forgive you,” a stranger, “thank you,” and look yourself in the mirror and say, “I love you.”

10.Have an electronic free day and spend time doing what you enjoy or feel passionate about like a new hobby or old interest you haven’t made time for.

During the holiday, whether you are alone or with family, focus on being in the moment, focus on creating new memories, and be thankful that you have yourself. Wise words from Dr. Joe Dispenza, “The best way to predict your future is to create it.” As you look forward to a new day and the new year ahead, imagine a picture in your mind of the new experiences you want to have, the infinite possibilities for your future, and the new you you want to be in 2023. Cheers to creating your happiness this holiday season and recreating yourself!

Sending you lots of love.
