he holidays for
some are a time for
creating memories
through traditions, family time, formal dinners, gift exchanges and a time of giving back. For others, however, the holidays are a reminder of being alone, the distance of family, sadness for loved ones who have passed, loss of a job, relationship, or a reminder of what has been lost or spent. Especially during this season and as we approach the end of the year, I encourage you to reflect on all you have learned, accomplished, endured, overcome, and changed. Thank yourself and your body for carrying you through the year, still breathing, still alive and with permission to find closure knowing you did your best. Most importantly, have faith that the best is yet to come!
Remember, each day is new, a gift and an opportunity to recreate yourself. So during this holiday season, I compel you to focus on what you truly desire for yourself in the new year. No matter who you are or where you are along your life’s journey, you can experience joy, peace and gratitude. My gift to you is providing 10 ways you can create and experience happiness during this holiday. Here are some possibilities to create a little light that will resonate with your soul.
