A year into planning, Brad had a revelation: Why not offer vinyl records alongside cannabis to enhance their customers' shopping and home experience? This idea led to the creation of a store that normalizes the cannabis shopping experience by integrating it with other products like music, non-THC snacks, and drinks. In addition to records, record players, cannabis, and cannabis accessories, Seven Point also sells various local-made products such as "Dark Matter Coffee," which is a Chicago-based, sustainable coffee company, and "B Happy," a family-owned company that created a peanut butter snack mix with chocolate, pretzels, and other delicious ingredients.

The Seven Point team rushed to open by April 20th, 2024 to participate in the cannabis holiday, 4/20, which is the official stoner holiday and celebration of cannabis. Although Seven Point has only been open since then, the store has already received positive reviews and community support. The innovative product information system in the store is like no other. Customers can pick up any cannabis product packaging and set it on an electronic reader that pulls up all the manufacturer details, details about each product and how it will make you feel, and photos of the product. This system will soon feature short video clips provided by the manufacturers, bringing the products to life and giving behind-the-scenes footage on how they are made. The store's online purchase system also features an AI budtender, which helps people match cannabis products to various attributes to better narrow in on beneficial products tailored for each individual customer.
