has welcomed a
unique new
addition to its community: Seven Point, the first cannabis and record store in town. This innovative store brings together the worlds of cannabis and music, offering a one-of-a-kind shopping experience. I had the pleasure of interviewing Brad Zerman, the CEO, who also happens to be my dad, and he shared the inspiring journey behind Seven Point.
The store's unique concept stemmed from the fact that my parents have been collecting rock and roll memorabilia for the past 15 years. Our home is adorned with music-related art. Much of it was purchased from "Rock for Kids," a charity that provides year-round music lessons and mentorship to kids in Chicago who live and attend public school in underfunded neighborhoods. Several pieces in their collection are signed by artists they've met over the years, as they also have a passion for live music.
