1.Dermaplaning treatments cause facial hair to grow back thicker.

The main purpose of dermaplaning is to remove superficial dead skin and vellus hair from the face. When the hair follicle is mechanically unplugged, it helps to unclog pores, remove excess sebum from the skin and also remove tiny baby hairs. When these baby hairs, otherwise known as vellus hair or peach fuzz, grow back – they grow back exactly the same and not thicker or fuller. Dermaplaning is a better treatment option for women, but most men have very coarse hair covering a large surface area of their face and may not be the best candidate for this cosmetic treatment.
