There is so much information available on social media about cosmetic treatments to get you looking your best for the summer months…but unfortunately there is also a lot of misinformation. Many of my patients are beauty influencers have been wonderful for the aesthetic industry because they’ve helped introduce our services to the masses via Tik Tok and Instagram. They provide tremendous value when highlighting their experience and recovery after a cosmetic treatment as it gives prospective patients an idea of what to expect when undergoing various aesthetic services.
Before and after treatments and surgery photos are some of the most searched images online, however, nowadays unfortunately, some ‘influencers’ are delving into an area of giving medical advice which has caused a lot of confusion for people interested in cosmetic services.
