MOBILITY SCHEME A SUCCESS

The Lions scheme to recycle unwanted mobility scooters and other aids for the disabled has been a
great success, reports Terry Williams, the project team leader.
Many families have donated scooters or walking aids which are refurbished and passed on to those
without the financial resource to buy one. Said Terry: “The generosity of the public has allowed Lions
to improve the mobility of many disabled people and we hope this will continue.”
