Hereford’s new Bishop , the
Right Rev Richard Frith has
arrived in the city just in time
for Christmas celebrations, the
most important event in the
Christian calendar. Festive

welcome to Bishop Richard –
and his wife Kay – who is the
new leader of Christians
throughout the large Diocese of
Hereford.
He was installed as the 105th
Bishop of Hereford in the
Cathedral on November 22,
Aged 65 and a grandfather, he
served as a curate in London,
later a vicar in Bristol, a
Prebendary at Wells Cathedral,
Archdeacon of Taunton and
for the last 16 years has been
the Suffragan Bishop of Hull.
