Newtown Motors are proud to have been awarded the Nissan franchise for
Hereford, and look forward to welcoming all drivers of the marque to our brand new
premises in Harrow Road.
Over the coming months we’ll be refurbishing the showrooms and workshops to
bring you an all-new Nissan facility by the end of 2015.
As we progress we’re operating from temporary premises on site, offering:

Enjoying the sun on the beach

As part of its youth development programme Hereford Lions Club is supporting the work
of Herefordshire Young Carers Association, an organisation which supports young people
caring for a disabled family member. These youngsters have to juggle school and their own
social activities with the caring responsibilities at home. Some can still be in Primary School.

The association lends a hand with club meetings and holiday breaks and
this summer Lions chipped in £600 towards the cost of a holiday in
Porthcawl for a group of girls taking a break from the usual caring duties at
home and enjoy some fun time with fellow carers.
One of the girls told Festive News: ’ It was kind of the Lions to help. We
had an amazing holiday, one of the best!. Not only was it a chance to have
a break and lots of fun but to share the experience with other young carers
who understand what’s it’s like to juggle college, studying and caring for a
family member .”
The Lions are also organising activity trips and a roller skating Christmas
party at the Core skating club in Hereford.
