HISTORY & HERITAGE

DOWNTOWN FERNIE HERITAGE PUB WALK

Promoting Fernie Beer in a Dominion Day parade outside The Imperial Bank, now the popular Brickhouse Bar & Grill.
Fernie’ s charming Historic Downtown hides deep secrets involving rumrunners, backroom clubs of an unsavoury nature, devastating fires, and even murder and malice. Follow this pub walk to learn about some of the locations still in operation, and those that didn’ t make it, and stop in for refreshments at four historical locations along the way.
