SPARWOOD MUSEUM
The Natal Sparwood Heritage Society is dedicated to preserving and sharing the histories of Sparwood , Corbin , Michel , Middletown and Natal .
The geology of the Elk Valley has provided a rich income for settlers for over 120 years . The Elk Valley ’ s mining activity is now centered around Sparwood , and the Sparwood Museum tells the story of how coal has been mined , how local communities have come and gone , and how local residents have lived through good times and bad .

NEW EXHIBIT COMING
The Museum is located in the heart of Sparwood and is open all year round . Indoor exhibits include recreations of living spaces from Sparwood ’ s early days , mining and geological artifacts and content relating to the citizens , industry , and activities of Sparwood and the surrounding communities .
