Euro Spigot Connector- Commercial Hinged & Sliding Doors
This Euro connection method of stile to rail connection eliminates complex machining details and thus any requirement for expensive punch tools common to most other door systems, and also reduces labour time associated with the fabrication of hinged and sliding door panels.
The connector spigot is simply screwed to either ends of the square cut rails and the clamping plate is loosened before being inserted into the ends of the stiles. The final step is to tighten the cap head screws using a ball ended screwdriver once the desired location is achieved. The resulting product is substantially stronger than conventional door assembly systems.
The door range now consists of a full range of rail heights, stile widths, midrails, single glazed, double glazed and various hardware options to suit architectural or performance related requirements.
Both the residential and commercial door systems are designed to enable triple point locking and ensure all seals are fully engaged when the door is closed. Drop seals and draft seals are also incorporated into the design to further improve thermal and weather performance.
